2009 Chicago Marathon
We did it! We finished the Chicago Marathon AND had fun doing it. The day was a perfect - cool temperature, slight breeze. We ran with Jackie and Craig for most of the race but pulled away at mile 20. We felt so good that we took 8 minutes off our time in the last 6.2 miles. We ended up finishing in 5:00:31, which was exactly our goal! Go us!
