Memorial Day 2012
Tim and I have an exciting Memorial Day. We started our day by running a 5K that benefited District 128. Even though the heat was sweltering we both managed to run our best 5K times ever! I think it had something to do with the fact that our bibs were numbers 1 and 2 - please note: my bib was #1 :)

F*3 Half Marathon
On Saturday, my running partner Lisa, my sister-in-law Jenn, and I participated in the F'ing Freezing Frozen Half Marathon. You can tell from our attire that it was definitely freezing and frozen! The footing wasn't the greatest and we had to battle a 20mph head wind on the last 7 miles but we finish fifteen minutes faster than our goal. We crossed the finish line at 2:15:13.

Round 1 to the Packers
Although the Bears did not pound on the Packers in the fashion that they deserved, this final play gives me hope!
